Divided Union

Ref: C2228507

It was a time of war, of the end to depression and of high economic growth, consumerism and general prosperity. But it was also a time of confrontation abroad with the Cold War and at home with the rise of the Civil Rights movement. It is a history of post-war America whose legacy still shapes the world we live in today. Presidents good and bad, a struggle for freedom and equality and a period that witnessed the rise of suburbs and a growing prosperous middle class. It spans the years of American domination of the free world and the world economy and ends with the worst political scandal in American history. This is the USA 1939 - 75 a divided union.
