Protest Crafts - Make a Suffragette Style Rosette

Ref: C3533327

During this session we will be making a traditional style ribbon rosette and looking at pictures through history of women who were part of the change in the right to vote. It is a great opportunity to pick up a new skill that can be translated into different colours, fabrics and used in different ways as decorative accessories.

Course aim

Celebrate the WEA festival of women with a simple craft project focused on how women have made gains in important areas. The ribbon rosette is made from the colours worn by the women who made their purpose to bring womens rights into the light.
