Twixt Leeds and Bradford

Ref: C3676392

Our course will begin to look at the towns and villages which are part of the green belt between the cities of Leeds and Bradford. We'll look around us for signs of the past including in the landscape, the built environment and discover the stories through books, maps, photographs and other documents which can be used for researching both local and family history. Join us to discover - or perhaps be reminded of - influential families, people's trades and industries, the churches, chapels, houses, footpaths and may be some curious details both past and present
