A short course enabling you to make a seasonal door wreath, you will be able to identify plant materials, wiring techniques, learn how to add adornments and make a beautiful wreath for your door for christmas.

This course is funded by Tees Valley Combined Authority. This course is at Corpus Christi RC Primary School, Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, Cleveland TS3 8NL. It is a safe and welcome environment.

Course aim

Introduction to making a christmas door wreath .

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify winter foliages and flowers.
  • Demonstrate basic wiring skills and ribbon folding.
  • Design and assemble a wreath using principle elements of design.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions

This course is funded by the Tees Valley Combined Authority but is also open to residents of other areas.
