The Cheyenne were second only to the Sioux for their impassioned resistance to American expansion into Indian lands during the 19th century. This course follows the fortunes of these proud buffalo hunting Indians, from their victories alongside Sitting Bull, to defeat, imprisonment, daring escape and tragic massacre all the way to the modern day. It is the story of all Native Americans as represented by the tumultuous experiences of one famous tribe.
